Volvarine 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2016 Hi guys, I forgot about the new forum! I have replaced rings, bearings, head gasket most of the seals. Seems like the oil rings were worn, and the cause of the smoking. engine sounds good and busy driving it in. there is an oil leak we just can't find. looks like the oil runs down the crank position sensors wire from the top somewhere. Just can't find the cause of the leak

Volvarine 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2017 Yurz, Is there anyway to mod the autobox. Up the oil pressures or locking torque converter. I think it is slipping abit on high revs and when changing gears. Power is getting too much for it lol The is the model and spec of the box
lunateg 15 Report post Posted October 20, 2017 42 минуты назад, Volvarine сказал: locking torque converter Hi. As far as I know, hi-power gearboxes has no torque converter locking (for example, A340Es for 1/2jz turbo are modified in Russia). Although, slipping prevents shafts breaking during the shifting. Volvarine 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2017 Ok, but there must be away to up the oil pressures to help a bit or something like that
lunateg 15 Report post Posted October 20, 2017 I find it hard to believe that it is possible without genuine oil pump modification. I suppose Yurz uses the stock one.
